This parameter indicates the number of revolutions of the shaft with a fixed nozzle for a certain time unit. When working with fasteners, you need a value of 500 rpm, when drilling - 1000 or more, depending on the density of the base. You can change the characteristics by adjusting, the more speeds are available, the better.

Modern screwdrivers are equipped with special gearboxes that allow them to work at reduced speeds with a constant torque. It is also possible to regulate the number of revolutions of the electric motor.

Battery voltage: what does it affect?

It is widely believed that with an increase in this indicator, power and torque also increase. However, there is an important nuance. Many devices have voltages between 3 and 36.

If you compare two screwdrivers of different voltages, for example, 14.4 and 18, then they will have the same torque, 70 Nm. The difference lies in the design of the battery, the number of its components is different. The 18-volt model has more components, which makes it more capacious.

Battery capacity: what does this parameter mean?
